Communicating and promoting the service

Reaching people as part of a typical customer journey

Your marketing team already knows how to reach your target audience. 1 in 3 of them will have hearing loss. Consider every potential touch point in your customer journey from becoming aware of a show, all the way to when the curtain goes up. How could you let someone know that your venue has Auracast?

Here are just a few examples:

  • Include the Auracast logo on posters, webpages and adverts – see Using the Auracast logo.
  • Add a banner on website and booking page
  • Signs in lobby, box office, cloakroom, back of toilet cubicle doors
  • PA announcements in the lobby as people arrive
  • Staff wear ‘Ask me about Auracast’ badges or T-shirts
  • News feature in customer newsletter (mail or email)

Using the Auracast logo across your channels

The Auracast logo is a helpful way to communicate that your venue has Auracast and it can be utilized across most of your print and digital materials. The logo is trademarked and venues must register to use it. Visit Auracast location registration to obtain the necessary licence rights.

You have it on your website, you have it somewhere that’s very visible, and if you come into the venue, it’s on posters or you make announcements.”

Top tip: Have numerous touchpoints across your digital channels for people to find out about your venue’s Auracast offer and other accessibility features.
