Communicating and promoting the service

Provide opportunities to ‘try before you buy’

Consider ways to get people into your venue so that they can try out your Auracast system in advance of attending a normal show.

The aim is to give people a chance to experience how transformative Auracast is and give them confidence that their devices will work on show night. It also gives your front-of-house team time with customers, to understand their needs and to ensure that they can be met. Of course, a frictionless experience for customers also reduces the risk of customer support bottlenecks.

There are lots of ways your venue could create “try-before-you-buy” opportunities. Be creative! Here are a few to get you started:

Free events

Does your venue host free community events already? Take full advantage by advertising come and try sessions.

Demo day

Perhaps linked to a big public launch of your new Auracast system, can you simply open your doors for people to get a demo?

Roadshow

Would you like to host an Auracast Experience roadshow as part of a national campaign to raise awareness? Let us know.

Familiarisation tours

Many venues already provide familiarisation tours so people can explore the venue and ask questions without other people being there. This is a great opportunity to tell people about your Auracast system and how it can help with a variety of access needs.

Pre-show familiarisation

Maybe your primary audience is tourists who are only in town for the show. Can you open your doors early for a familiarisation session? If you accept group bookings from tour operators, can you include this as part of your offer?
