Help your staff check their hearing
Our free online hearing check takes just 3 minutes and is a simple way to start conversations about hearing loss in your workplace.
Learn why hearing loss matters in the workplace and how you can encourage staff to check their hearing.
Why addressing hearing loss in the workplace matters
9 million people of working age have hearing loss. Hearing loss is often hidden in the workplace but could be having an impact on your staff’s communication, productivity, and wellbeing.
It takes people many years to take action after they start to notice their hearing loss. Untreated hearing loss is a contributing factor in people deciding to retire early.
Share the online hearing check with your staff
Share the link to our online hearing check. Staff will get their results immediately and can also receive them by email. If their results suggest they may have hearing loss, we’ll provide information and support on the next steps they can take.
You could also:
- share our hearing check by email
- promote it on your intranet
- highlight it on an awareness day, like World Hearing Day on 3 March
It’s a great way to show your commitment and spark meaningful conversations.
Support for organisations
If you’re part of a larger organisation, we can help you roll out our hearing check to colleagues, raising awareness of hearing loss and encouraging staff to take action. Organisations such as HSBC UK have already used our hearing check to support these conversations.
RNID is providing expertise in this area and enabling us to take steps towards being a truly inclusive business and opening a world of opportunity for our colleagues, our customers and the wider communities we serve.”
