Hugh is a solicitor working with all aspects of business ownership, finance and strategy. This includes helping growth companies through crowd-funding rounds, private equity funding and exits. His firm is based in Cheshire and Shropshire – but supports clients all over the UK and beyond.
With a lifetime of gradually developing deafness – and the same gene appearing in the wider family – Hugh has been working with RNID since running the London Marathon in 2013 to help find a cure – and Hugh’s daughter Mary walked the Camino in 2022, raising over £6,000 for RNID. Hugh is also a trustee and chairman of Community Resource in Shropshire. One activity is running a hearing loss programme to support first time users of hearing aids.
