We fund research into hearing loss and tinnitus for the discovery and development of new medical treatments to:
- prevent hearing loss
- restore hearing
- silence tinnitus.

Funding schemes
Translational Grant
The Translational Grant aims to support and accelerate the translation of research discoveries into potential new treatments to protect and regenerate hearing and silence tinnitus. It funds projects at both academic institutions and small or medium enterprises in any country.

Discovery Research Grant
Our Discovery Research Grants support projects that will generate knowledge to underpin the discovery of treatments for hearing loss or tinnitus, or improve how new treatments are developed and tested.

Fellowship scheme
Our Fellowship scheme aims to build research capacity in hearing research, by supporting the career development of the UK’s most talented new ‘investigators’ towards becoming independent scientists.
