I have hearing loss and tinnitus myself, it’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about the research. I struggle mostly when I’m in a noisy place. I need to concentrate so much just to be a part of the conversation – it’s exhausting.

With all of the parties and family get-togethers, Christmas unfortunately, is the worst time for me. It’s sad because I do miss out on things and spending time with the people I love.

In 2017, I completed my PhD in ‘Hidden Hearing Loss’ at UCL and made some amazing discoveries. It was a life-changing experience – all thanks to RNID’s Future Leaders Programme, funded by people like you.”
