Our staff and volunteers are continuing to support people across the UK who are deaf or have hearing loss or tinnitus during the coronavirus pandemic.
Some of our usual volunteering roles aren’t available at the moment, but there are still lots of ways you can get involved and support our work.
Below are the volunteering roles we currently have available and we will update these regularly. We hope you can find a volunteering opportunity that suits you.
You can only apply for these roles if you live in England.
Hearing aid hero volunteer – Hull and the East Riding
Provide support and advice to hearing aid users at our Hear to Help drop-in clinics, helping them with basic maintenance of their hearing aids and battery replacement.
Hearing aid support volunteer – City and Hackney, London
Provide support and advice to NHS hearing aid users at our Hear to Help Hearing Aid Maintenance Clinic, helping with basic maintenance and support of hearing aids.
Hearing aid support volunteer – North East Essex/Tendring
Provide support and advice to NHS hearing aid users at our Hear to Help Hearing Aid Maintenance Clinic, assisting in basic maintenance and support of hearing aids.
You can only apply for these roles if you live in Northern Ireland.
We don’t currently have any volunteering roles in Scotland.

We’re creating a new COVID-safe clinic that offers a “drive through” service for NHS hearing aid users and need to recruit volunteers to help.
Live Well befriender: south, west and mid-Wales
Provide support and friendship to deaf people and people with tinnitus and hearing loss through befriending via telephone, video calls or face-to-face visits.
