Do you have family or friends who have hearing loss? Perhaps you are the one who often feels left out of conversations?
Our Christmas Dinner Game has been created to make sure every guest at your table has fun together, while also being deaf aware. This means everyone is included (and no one misses that joke you’ve been practising!).
Simply order by Friday 11 December to receive your game in time for Christmas.
The game includes all you need for everyone to have festive fun – you’ll even have the chance to learn a bit of British Sign Language (BSL).
Family favourites with a deaf aware twist
Your Christmas Dinner Game will include six family favourite games, each with a deaf aware twist:
- Do you see what I see? Players take turns to draw a picture that represents what’s on their cards – first correct guess wins.
- Read my lips. Uncover some Christmas cheer in our lipreading game.
- Sign it. Use your BSL fingerspelling cheat sheet to spell out Christmas phrases. Your partner must guess as many as they can in one minute.
- Act out. Players take turns to act out Christmas-themed phrases – the first to guess correctly wins.
- The reindeer game. Race to create ‘antlers’ on a chosen player’s head in this fast-paced elimination game.
- Sign and seek. Send your teammate on a scavenger hunt by fingerspelling clues.
