How we spend the money raised through our lottery

In 2020, £333,202.00 was raised from ticket sales in our Weekly Lottery and Superdraws, with 14.00% being spent on Prizes, 30.81% spent on Expenses and 55.19% was used to support deaf people and those with hearing loss and tinnitus across the UK. This translated to a fantastic £183,903.52! (Based on the Lottery Submissions made by RNID to the Gambling Commission, during the 2020 calendar year). Our Weekly Lottery is a fantastic way for us to grow our support as most of the remaining proceeds were re-invested into growing the number of people supporting our work, so that together, we can transform even more lives.

The Weekly Lottery and Superdraws are promoted by RNID, Brightfield Business Hub, Bakewell Rd, Orton Southgate, Peterborough PE2 6XU. Responsible people: James Abbott & Paul Hayward. Registered Charity Numbers 207720 (England and Wales) and SC038926 (Scotland). In 2020, the likelihood of winning a prize was, on average, 1 in 321 in our regular Weekly Lotteries and 1 in 2,388 in our Superdraws.
